Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is hiring for a Visual Team role in Florida. The position emphasizes achieving sales readiness, following guidance from the Visual Manager, and executing promotional setups on the sales floor.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of visual team experience in a major department store, with a strong portfolio, carpentry and painting skills, and proficiency in MS Office and design tools. A dynamic, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years visual team experience in a major multi-level department store with a portfolio of past projects
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently
• Experience in painting techniques and basic production knowledge
• Experience with styling and fashion pulls and strong fashion trend awareness
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred
• Knowledge of current fashion and art trends

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate initiative and a sense of urgency in selling floor readiness before store opening
• Follow directives from the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team
• Execute promotional and sale set-up including presentation, lettering, and signage; assist trunk shows and personal appearance setups
• Assist in replenishing merchandise on the selling floor and wall units
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed
