Job summary

Scalamandré is hiring a Junior Sales Associate for our Troy, MI showroom to support trade clients and deliver a luxury experience. You will handle textile selections, guide designers, and ensure smooth order processing from start to finish.

The role emphasizes meticulous administration, strong client communication, and the ability to coordinate samples and shipments across showrooms. Prior luxury retail exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of luxury retail/showroom experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Fine Arts, or Business is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with CRMs and sales systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist trade clients in the showroom environment.
• Train clients on product collections and design solutions.
• Assist showroom merchandising and maintain luxury displays.
• Support senior sales associates with follow-up and inquiries.
• Enter and process client orders, quotes, and payments accurately.
• Track orders and expedite shipments with customer service.
• Coordinate fabric samples, transfers, and approvals.
