Job summary

The Springs Resort & Spa in Pagosa Springs, Colorado is seeking a licensed massage therapist to join our Spa & Wellness team. The role delivers therapeutic and relaxation massage services aligned with our geothermal soaking experience and luxury guest expectations.

We welcome full-time, seasonal hires willing to relocate. Candidates must hold an active Colorado license, demonstrate excellent guest care, and commit to maintaining the highest sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Massage Therapy License in good standing, or MB LEx on file; Colorado licensure required prior to first day.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, therapeutic techniques, and contraindications.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Polished, warm communication style suited to a luxury guest environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage therapy services, including therapeutic, relaxation, deep tissue, and specialty modalities in accordance with licensure and spa protocols.
• Conduct thorough guest consultations to assess needs, preferences, contraindications, and wellness goals.
• Customize treatments to align with guest expectations and wellness outcomes.
• Create a serene, welcoming atmosphere from greeting through post-treatment follow-up, ensuring each guest feels cared for throughout the entire experience.
• Educate guests on benefits of integrating massage therapy with geothermal soaking for enhanced wellness outcomes.
