Job summary

Longchamp USA is seeking a Stockroom Associate to maintain organized stockrooms in our boutiques. You will receive deliveries, sort merchandise by style, size, and color, and prepare items for display.

You will collaborate with store management, support merchandising standards, and handle shipments via UPS/FedEx. A high school diploma and 2 years in stockroom retail are required, with basic knowledge of Cegid and shipping systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a stockroom environment in a retail setting.
• Basic knowledge of the Cegid System.
• Proficiency with the UPS/FedEx shipping system.

Responsibilities

• Stockroom ownership: keep merchandise organized by style, size, and color.
• Receive and process merchandise on delivery, including opening boxes and sorting.
• Coordinate with Store Management on items needed for display.
• Prepare shipments using UPS/FedEx systems.
• Assist with pulling orders and support merchandising per company standards.
• Maintain the store in company standard conditions and assist management, sales staff and customers.

Job Summary:

Specializes in stocking and organizing the stockroom of the boutiques and handles various operational issues relating to merchandise inventory.

• Demonstrates ownership of the stockroom by keeping all merchandise organized by style, size, and color.
• Maintains cleanliness according to company standards.
• Receives and processes merchandise upon delivery, including opening boxes, sorting, and placing merchandise in assigned areas.
• Coordinates with Store Management and staff on items immediately needed on display.
• Prepares packages for external shipment using UPS/FedEx computer systems.
• Assists with pulling orders and sets up, counts, ships, and prepares boxes/cartons for shipping.
• Ensures completion of shipments, transfers, damages, and donations in a timely manner.
• Ensures replenishment of merchandise and miscellaneous items is done daily and accurately.
• Complies with safety and loss prevention policies set by Company standards.
• Processes new merchandise, assists with floor moves, and supports merchandising according to Company standards.
• Assists in maintaining the store in Company standard conditions and supports management, the sales team, and customers.
• Maintains the highest standards of general housekeeping.
• Works on special projects as required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a stockroom environment in a similar retail setting.
• Basic knowledge of the Cegid System.
• Proficiency with the UPS/FedEx shipping system.
• Properly prepares, receives, checks, and processes shipments.

• Understanding of inventory management and the importance of good customer service.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Strong computer and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Climbing ladders and stairs as needed.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Repetitive use of hands and fingers when handling merchandise and completing operational tasks.
• Close visual acuity for computer work, reading, inventory inspection, and handling small items.
• Work may take place both indoors and outdoors as required.
