Job summary

Bergdorf Goodman in New York City is seeking a Selling Assistant to support the Personal Stylist, manage appointments, and ensure a premium client experience. You will handle POS transactions, post-appointment follow-up, and data entry for client records, contributing to a seamless luxury shopping journey.

Ideal candidates have fashion retail experience, proficiency with Google Suite, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Styling, fashion and/or fashion retail experience is required.
• Experience with Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets).
• High School Diploma / equivalency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Personal Stylist in preparing and executing selling appointments.
• Ring transactions at POS.
• Post-appointment follow-up including order tracking and alterations.
• Organize appointment scheduling and maintain clientele information.
• Support digital selling and social media presence.
• Organize gifting experiences for Top Clients and ensure stock returns for unsold merchandise.
• Maintain fitting room cleanliness and assist with housekeeping as needed.
