Job summary

The Jupiter Island Club in Florida is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage employee uniform distribution and oversee daily laundry operations in a high-end hospitality setting. He/she will operate and maintain the laundry room and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of laundry or housekeeping experience; a valid driver's license is required to perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of laundry and/or housekeeping experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, and distributes clean uniforms to employees according to department specifications.
• Operates and maintains linen/uniform room.
• Cleans and maintains uniforms and linen/terry for multiple outlets including Accommodations, Spa, Fitness, Golf, Tennis, F&B.
• Follows guidelines for weighing loads to ensure proper poundage.
• Pre-treats stains with appropriate chemicals.
• Inspects uniforms for damage and replaces as needed.
• Folds and stores clean linen/terry safely. Maintains separation of linens by department.
• Operates and cleans laundry equipment daily and ensures area is orderly.
• May assist with club events and related duties as assigned.
