Job summary

Prodigy Kitchens & Baths in Pawleys Island, SC, is seeking a full-time Kitchen & Bath designer to join our luxury design-build showroom team. You will meet clients in-showroom and at their homes, develop creative design concepts, create 2D drawings and 3D renderings, and collaborate with contractors to drive projects from start to finish.

Candidates should have a degree in Interior Design or Architecture or a Kitchen and Bath Design certification, plus proficiency in Chief Architect and AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a Kitchen and Bath Design certification is preferred.
• Must have an interest in residential design
• Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of Kitchen & Bath design
• Proficiency in Chief Architect and / or AutoCad
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign) optional
• Knowledge of 2020 is optional and not required

Responsibilities

• Meet potential clients in the showroom, both walk-in and by-appointment clients
• Meet clients at their home
• Conduct design meetings and develop creative design concepts for projects, including well laid out drawings and 3D renderings
• Provide knowledge of custom cabinetry and luxury design
• Work on job bids and proposals, and present them to clients
• See a project through from start to finish, including collaboration with contractors during construction
• Draw up custom cabinetry orders
• Product ordering and receiving
