Job summary

Billie Arthur Design Studio in Sioux Falls, SD seeks an Interior Design Consultant to create high-end spaces for discerning clients. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, contractors, and the team to craft inviting, functional environments aligned with each client’s lifestyle and taste.

The role offers hands-on design development, mood boards, product recommendations, showroom client experiences, and ongoing project support within a luxury furnishings studio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or related field preferred but not required.
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, event planning, project coordination, or other client-focused roles is valuable.
• Previous interior design experience beneficial but not required.
• Interest in interior design, decorating, furnishings, or related creative pursuits encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in selecting furnishings, décor, lighting, finishes, flooring, wall coverings, and accessories reflecting personal style and needs.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, presentations, and product recommendations for residential projects.
• Build relationships with clients through exceptional service, design guidance, and ongoing project support.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and team members to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
• Support project coordination including orders, deliveries, vendor communications, scheduling, and follow-up.
