Job summary

RH Interior Design is seeking an Interior Design Assistant to support project workflows and deliver an elevated client experience. You will collaborate with designers on consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and deliveries.

The role requires strong organization, design aptitude, tech savvy with Mac OS/iOS, and polished client-facing communication. Occasional local travel to design galleries and client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Education in art, architecture or interior design preferred.
• Experience in design firm or luxury retail preferred.
• Hands-on interior installation experience; travel locally or out-of-state preferred.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS, MS Office and Google Apps; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Strong organizational, collaborative, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and drive license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a luxury client experience and represent the RH lifestyle through professional communication and appearance.
• Qualify and educate potential design clients about RH Interior Design services.
• Support all phases of the design process including consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery coordination.
• Produce brand-appropriate presentations communicating design concepts, space planning and product selections.
• Provide product expertise and assist in maintaining visual and quality standards within the gallery.
• Collaborate with designers, vendors and internal teams to ensure project timelines and client needs are met.
