Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a personable housekeeper to ensure exceptional guest room cleanliness at Claremont Resort & Club in the Berkeley Hills. You will clean and refresh rooms, restock supplies, and maintain high standards of tidiness and presentation throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scrub and scour surfaces and reach overhead.
• Must be a team player and willing to help coworkers.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment usage.
• Able to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs with/without help.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to adapt communication style for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, and floors.
• Follow cleaning procedures and use cleaning agents correctly.
• Strip beds and change linens, lifting heavy items as needed.
• Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, and window ledges thoroughly.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash containers.
• Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for keys, retrieve and deliver rooms, restock carts.
• Maintain attendance and reliability; perform other duties as assigned.
