Job summary

The National Hotel Miami Beach is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor to oversee a proactive program ensuring guest and employee safety and hotel security. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating investigations, and implementing safety training programs.

Responsibilities include enforcing SOPs, maintaining incident logs, and conducting facility inspections, with CPR/First Aid and OSHA knowledge highly valued. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in management security/loss prevention, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Strong leadership, organizational, listening and problem-solving skills with diplomacy.
• Excellent confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy in job functions.
• Knowledge of fire safety and emergency procedures.
• Current CPR certification and First Aid Training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of guests, team members and hotel property.
• Ensure all areas and property are securely maintained at all times.
• Investigate thefts, disturbances, injuries and other incidents as required.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and train hotel staff accordingly.
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for Loss Prevention.
• Train all staff in hotel procedures and guest service skills.
• Maintain incident reports for General Liability incidents and daily activity reports.
• Manage the hotel key system and maintain a current key log.
• Oversee shipping/receiving and keep records/logs for packages.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, banquet rooms, ballrooms, and guest rooms.
