Job summary

The Press Hotel, part of EOS Hospitality in Portland, is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Leader to guide and develop the team, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will manage daily operations, staffing, and payroll while maintaining brand standards and safety compliance.

Starting compensation is $60,000, with opportunities for advancement based on performance, skills, and internal equity within a dynamic, luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel environment.
• Luxury or upscale hotel experience preferred; demonstrated experience managing a team and overseeing day-to-day housekeeping operations.
• Ability to manage schedules, payroll, inventory, staffing levels, and departmental priorities.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; withstand long shifts and mobility.
• Schedule flexibility to meet a 24-hour hotel operation, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the Housekeeping team and Supervisors; recruit, train, and onboard staff.
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, payroll, and adherence to standards and procedures.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation; address deficiencies.
• Monitor guest feedback and take corrective actions; liaise with Front Office and other departments.
• Manage budget, inventory, and departmental goals; ensure OSHA and hotel standards compliance.
