Job summary

Delphine NYC, a luxury eveningwear brand, is seeking a creative Fashion Designer to support the Design Director from concept through production in our New York office.

You will develop cohesive collections with domestic and overseas partners, sketch, CAD, and build detailed design packages while maintaining craftsmanship and brand aesthetics.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in women's eveningwear, strong construction knowledge, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fashion design experience focused on women's eveningwear or luxury occasion wear.
• Strong garment construction, patternmaking, draping, and fitting skills.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, and presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the design process from concept to final production across collections.
• Research trends, fabrics, colors, and embellishments to guide development.
• Create sketches, CADs, flats, and design packages for development.
• Collaborate with vendors, product development, and factories to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
