Job summary

Emery Lane Homes & Development seeks an experienced On-Site Project Manager / Custom Home Superintendent to own sophisticated ground-up custom homes, major remodels, and select development projects in the Phoenix area.

You will lead projects from mobilization through turnover, coordinate civil and on-site works, and supervise subcontractors while ensuring schedule, quality and client satisfaction in a luxury market.

Qualifications

Custom residential leadership is mandatory: 5+ years leading ground-up custom homes or complex high-end projects.
Broad construction background across multiple building systems, phases, trades, and finish levels.
Site and infrastructure experience coordinating civil work, grading, utilities, and improvements.
Proven ability to deliver full-cycle projects from site mobilization to owner turnover.
Strong plan-reading and constructability skills across civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and design docs.
Working knowledge of building codes, permitting, inspections, safety requirements, and construction practices.
Ability to build and enforce schedules, hold trades accountable, and solve field problems.
Professional communication with high-end homeowners, design teams, and leadership.
Proficiency with Buildertrend, Procore, JobTread, or similar CM software, plus Microsoft 365.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel among Phoenix sites.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from preconstruction through turnover, punch list, and owner orientation.
Develop, maintain, and drive detailed construction schedules for long-lead items and trades.
Coordinate daily field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics.
Manage multiple active projects with clear priorities, reporting, and coordination.
Own project outcomes for schedule, quality, safety, documentation, and client experience.
Read and coordinate civil, grading, utilities, architecture, landscape, and pool plans.
Oversee site prep, earthwork, drainage, and on-site/off-site improvements.
Coordinate surveyors, civil engineers, utilities, inspectors, and trades to resolve conflicts.
