Job summary

Slate is seeking a dependable Commercial Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis in Washington, DC. The role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and presentation of client facilities to reflect luxury standards, with attention to detail and adherence to premium surface protocols.

The Cleaner will work with the Lead Cleaner or store representative, ensuring timely completion of tasks and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in commercial cleaning preferred.
• Experience in luxury retail or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols for premium surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard commercial cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, trash removal and disinfecting.
• Notify supervisors of maintenance issues and supply needs.
• Complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours and follow safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with team lead using mobile/web tools for assignments and quality checks.
• Communicate effectively with lead cleaner or store representative.
