Job summary

Aspen One invites applications for a Breakfast Food Runner role within our luxury hotel breakfast program. You will deliver breakfast items from the kitchen, ensure accuracy, proper temperature, and friendly service to guests, while supporting the front-of-house team.

The position reports to the Restaurant Manager and requires strong communication, quick problem solving, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service practices and guest service standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver breakfast food and beverages from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all orders are complete, properly presented, and delivered at the appropriate temperature.
• Assist servers by providing beverage refills, condiments, accompaniments, and fulfilling guest requests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure order accuracy and efficient service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food runner stations, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain an inviting and efficient breakfast dining environment.
• Monitor dining room needs and proactively support the service team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards while handling food and beverages.
• Assist with stocking service stations, replenishing supplies, and completing side work as assigned
• Maintain positive communication with service and kitchen staff
• Make Manager aware of guests' comments and complaints
• Comply with all policies and procedures for Aspen Hospitality and Aspen One
• Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager
• Other duties as assigned
