Job summary

Genesis is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician for the grand opening of the Washington DC Metro Genesis store in Marlow Heights, MD. Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on Genesis vehicles, complete multi-point inspections, and communicate repair needs to service advisors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive technician experience (Genesis/Hyundai experience a plus).
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with modern scan tools and OEM software.
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat‑rate environment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Genesis vehicles.
• Complete multi‑point inspections and document findings accurately.
• Use factory‑approved tools, equipment, and repair procedures.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding repair needs.
• Stay current with Genesis training, technology, and certification programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Deliver a premium service experience consistent with Genesis standards.
