Job summary

Autobahn is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our luxury brands team in North Texas. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain high-end vehicles with a focus on quality and first-time fix across Porsche, BMW, Land Rover, Cadillac and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee preferred.
• Luxury, European, or franchise dealership experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and drivability systems.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, special service equipment, and manufacturer technology platforms.
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and teammates to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Provide accurate estimates for additional repairs and maintenance recommendations; execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs for quality assurance.
• Maintain manufacturer certifications and stay current with evolving automotive technologies.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment focused on excellence and accountability.
