Job summary

Saks Global is hiring an Asset Protection Investigator to join our on-site Distribution Center team. You will prevent losses from theft and fraud, conduct investigations, and document incidents while reporting to the Asset Protection Manager.

Expect to maintain safety, assist in emergencies, and perform surveillance tasks to identify indicators of theft and fraud. A flexible schedule is required and prior LP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer software.
• Investigative and conflict management abilities.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing directions or unexpected situations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store.
• Assess and help with emergency situations.
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators for internal or external theft, and fraud.
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all Asset Protection incidents properly.
• Prepare and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits and training.
• Support and participate in store operations programs.
