Job summary

HILLS Properties seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician for our luxury community Sterling Lakes in Mason, Ohio. You’ll handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep to keep residents happy and property standing out.

This hands-on role requires a on-call schedule with some evening and weekend hours. A valid driver’s license and thorough maintenance knowledge are important, and comprehensive benefits accompany a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Thorough working knowledge of building maintenance.
• Able to communicate clearly, both orally and written.
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand tools and cleaning fluids.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain outdoor grounds areas, including pool area, in a safe, attractive condition.
• Inspect vacated units and perform make-ready, including painting, drywall, and carpet cleaning.
• Perform work orders and repairs, including HVAC, electrical, small appliances, and plumbing repairs.
• Inspect/log building lights, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems and furnace filters; replace as needed.
