Job summary

Crash Champions in Burbank, CA is seeking an Estimator to educate customers on repair processes, prepare estimates, and manage the repair lifecycle from intake to completion. This Regular Full-Time role covers end-to-end damage evaluation and QC to uphold our quality standards.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and a posted pay range of $69,810 to $155,000 per year, reflecting a competitive compensation model for a leading MSO with 650+ locations.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and ability to educate customers on repair processes.
• Strong organization and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of working with insurance partners preferred.
• Ability to review data with body technicians and manage files.
• Familiarity with estimating systems (CCC One, Mitchell & Audatex).

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on repair processes, insurance procedures, and rights.
• Complete initial estimates, write full estimates after evaluation, and lock final estimates.
• Manage each repair and ensure quality standards through QC.
• Keep customers informed about status and provide a great experience.
• Review data with technicians and complete post-scanning steps.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
• Completes initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates
• Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards by performing in-process QC.
• Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle and provide the best possible experience for our customers.
• Able to pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process
• Pre-close the final repair order, Handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions in the file and ensure carrier specific requirements are complete
