Job summary

Peppermill Spa & Salon in Reno, NV seeks a qualified Hairstylist to deliver luxury hair care in a high-end resort environment. You will perform precision haircutting, coloring, styling, treatments, and bridal styling, while building lasting guest relationships and promoting retail products.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Nevada State Board of Cosmetology License.
• Able to acquire Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a luxury spa, resort, hotel, salon, or other high-touch hospitality environment.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a licensed professional hairstylist, with advanced proficiency in: precision haircutting and styling; bridal and event styling; color services (highlights, balayage, blonding, corrective color); texture services (perms, curl); smoothing and straightening.
• Ability to conduct thorough consultations and build guest relationships with personalized recommendations and results.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to stay on schedule while delivering high-quality services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills reflecting luxury resort and spa standards.
• Passion for ongoing education and industry trends, including advanced cutting, color, styling, and treatment techniques.
• Retail sales experience with multiple haircare brands to confidently recommend products.
• Experience serving a diverse clientele at a hotel resort.
