Job summary

Equinox Hotels is seeking a diligent Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms in our New York properties. You will clean, restock, and refresh rooms according to brand standards, ensuring comfort and safety for every guest.

Responsibilities include handling linen and trash, coordinating with guests’ preferences, reporting maintenance needs, and upholding all safety and cleanliness procedures. Prior luxury-hotel experience is preferred, with a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English with guests and staff.
• Ability to perform duties with speed, accuracy, courtesy, and minimal supervision.
• Physically able to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleans a designated number of rooms per shift according to hotel standards.
• Removes soiled linen and trash; restocks amenities.
• Cleans dust and sanitizes all areas of guest rooms.
• Notifies management of damages or missing items; reports required repairs.
• Coordinates with guest preferences during room preparation.
• Follows safety rules and hotel policies at all times.
