Job summary

Starwood Hotels in Austin is seeking a Pool Busser to support the service team across pool and outdoor dining areas. You will assist servers by keeping areas clean, resetting tables, stocking stations, and ensuring guests an inviting space.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Prior bussing or food runner experience is preferred, with Food Handler Certification preferred or obtainable during employment.

Qualifications

• Previous busser or food runner experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
• Food Handler Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare poolside tables and lounge areas for service with proper settings.
• Set and maintain table settings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Stock and replenish all service stations during the shift.
• Maintain assigned service areas and assist with guest water service.
• Clear tables between courses and after guest departure.
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables, chairs, and pool areas as needed.
• Polish and store silverware, glassware, and service equipment.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of special events and poolside functions.
• Follow safety policies and participate in pre-shift meetings.
• Maintain uniform, grooming, and appearance standards.
