Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training in maintenance is a plus.
• Proven experience as Maintenance Technician, preferably in hotel or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform repairs efficiently.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to obtain your CPO (Certified Pool Operator) within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and carpentry work.
• Conduct inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
• Perform daily safety checks and maintenance of six bodies of water used for guest bathing, ensuring water quality and safety compliance, CPO.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems according to schedules.
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately and timely.
• Model professional appearance, carriage, and demeanor; represent Cascada Spa & Hotel to guests.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of events and meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to support maintenance needs and seamless operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
