Job summary

Bernardus Lodge is seeking a Room Attendant in California to uphold Forbes 4-Star standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will clean guest rooms, restock supplies, and maintain safety and order while responding to guest needs with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include bed-making, bathroom cleaning, and reporting maintenance issues. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required; dependability is essential in a busy, upscale environment.

Qualifications

• Must have open availability, weekends and holidays.
• Six-month related experience.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatile, flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must provide valid documents to work in the US.
• Must meet legal age requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments during morning standups and prep for the day’s workflow.
• Make beds according to resort standards.
• Replenish in-room supplies and amenities.
• Sweep and clean floors and rugs; remove debris.
• Dust and clean surfaces, windows, frames, furniture, walls, and sills.
• Empty trash and replace bags.
• Clean bathrooms including toilet, shower, bathtub, sink and floor.
• Report deficiencies to Housekeeping Management or Engineering.
• Maintain punctual and reliable attendance.
• Support safe work habits and environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
