Job summary

Land Rover Santa Monica, part of Sonic Automotive, seeks experienced Automotive Technicians to join a luxury service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to exacting standards and collaborate with parts and service staff.

The role offers hourly pay up to $65 with a sign-on bonus based on experience, full benefits, paid training, tool allowance, and relocation assistance; valid license required; minimum 2 years' experience; high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of previous Automotive Technician experience (Jaguar Land Rover preferred).
• Own a set of tools and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or the equivalent; manual dexterity required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Examine vehicle and diagnose necessary repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
