Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Lung Transplant program in an inpatient setting. You will provide comprehensive care to patients with advanced pulmonary disease, including pre- and post-transplant care, within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

The role offers a 100% FTE schedule, day shifts, rotating holidays, and flexible scheduling options. Strong clinical assessment, prescriptive authority, and patient communication are essential

Qualifications

• Must hold Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
• Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
• Active DEA license or ability to apply prior to or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to patients with advanced pulmonary disease.
• Conduct health histories and physical assessments of respiratory patients.
• Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with attending or consulting teams.
