Job summary

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care in a 2:1 patient-to-nurse setting with mentorship and growth opportunities. You will apply the nursing process and critical thinking to support patient outcomes and safety.

The unit offers a comprehensive orientation, specialized training, and opportunities to pursue Critical Care certification with support for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
• Minimum of six months of clinical experience as a licensed RN.
• One year of critical care experience preferred.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact license and ability to obtain Texas RN license within 90 days.

Responsibilities
