Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Director, Clinical Science – Lung to provide strategic leadership across lung disease programs. You will guide study design, data interpretation, and biomarker strategy while aligning approaches across the portfolio.

The role requires advanced degrees with substantial oncology development experience and a track record of leading Clinical Science teams, ensuring regulatory readiness and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

PhD or PharmD with 7+ years in lung oncology drug development, or Master’s with 12+ years.
Significant clinical development/oncology development experience with demonstrated Clinical Science leadership.
Strong lung cancer biology knowledge; experience in oncology trial design and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic Clinical Science leadership across lung disease area and multiple studies.
Guide study planning, data interpretation, and issue resolution with lung expertise.
Standardize Clinical Science approaches and align across portfolio.
Provide senior guidance for protocol development, endpoints, and biomarker strategy.
Contribute to portfolio governance and senior leadership reviews.
Lead and develop Clinical Science talent and teams.
Ensure regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
Partner with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biostatistics/DM, Drug Safety, Translational Medicine, Medical Affairs.
