Job summary

Allegan Public Schools seeks a Noon Hour Supervisor for L. E. White Middle School to supervise students in the lunchroom and during outdoor recess, and to assist with setup and cleanup in the cafeteria.

Responsibilities include supervising inside/outside, organizing recess activities, reporting issues to administration, monitoring during lunch, assisting custodial tasks between lunch periods, and hallway supervision after lunch. School-year employment, 2 hours/day, starting in August 2026.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students at lunch inside and outside; maintain a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts.
• Organize group games and activities during recess.
• Report any issues to administration that may arise in cafeteria or outside.
• Monitor and supervise during the entire lunch period with active circulation.
• Assist custodial needs between lunch periods.
• Hallway supervision when students re-enter the building after lunch.
