Chandler Unified School District is seeking a Noontime Aide for Chandler, AZ. This 1.5 hour per day, part-time role supports cafeteria supervision and student activity during meal times, with a 9-month calendar and a starting wage of $16.53 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to work with children at different age levels.
• Experience in supervising or working with children.
• Good human relations skills and knowledge of school policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance to ensure safe conduct in cafeteria or activity areas.
• Foster positive relationships with students.
• Monitor student activities during meals and breaks.
• Counsel and intervene to prevent misbehavior.
• Refer disciplinary matters to the appropriate authority.
• Report unauthorized persons on school premises.
• Notify health office in case of an accident.
• Perform duties safely and as directed; assist with other tasks as needed.
