Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain discipline and student safety in the cafeteria per district policies.
• Report student injuries, illnesses, and discipline problems to the appropriate authority.
• Supervise student behavior during lunch periods including serving lines and dismissal.
• Assist students with handling food items (opening milk cartons, packages, thermos, cans).
• Collect bagged trash from classrooms and deposit in the campus dumpster.
• Maintain positive and professional communication with teachers, parents, students, and staff.
• Demonstrate CCISD Core Values: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, citizenship.
• Participate as an effective team member to meet district and department goals.
• Participate in safety drills and use time effectively to manage responsibilities.
