Job summary

Fowlerville Community Schools' Fowlerville Junior High School in Fowlerville, MI is seeking a Part-Time Lunchroom/Recess Aide to supervise students during lunch and recess and assist in cafeteria operations. The role runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

(or 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.). Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and basic understanding of current technology; experience with students is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of current technology.
• Experience working with students (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Be alert at all times to students and their needs.
• Supervise and monitor students in the cafeteria during meals and at recess indoors or outdoors.
• Maintain order in the cafeteria and reinforce cleanup procedures.
• Wash tables during lunch shifts while supervising students.
• Inform administration immediately of any serious problems.
• Maintain a safe environment during lunch and recess.
• Enforce safety rules and playground/cafeteria policies.
• Supervise students when traveling between lunchroom, classrooms, and playground.
• Maintain confidentiality about students according to FERPA and district policies.
