Job summary

Berkeley Heights Public Schools is seeking a Non-Instructional Support staff member to assist certificated staff in maintaining a safe, orderly cafeteria, playground, and school environment. You will supervise students and complete daily tasks at Thomas P.

Hughes, William Woodruff, Mountain Park, and Mary Kay McMillin Early Childhood Center. Location: elementary schools; Date available: 2026-2027; compensation: $17.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college graduate preferred.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Successful Criminal History Clearance.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated staff in maintaining a safe, orderly atmosphere in the cafeteria, playground and school.
