Kansas City Public Schools is seeking a Noon Duty Aide for Wendell Phillips Elementary in Kansas City, Missouri. Start date is immediate, with salary listed at $15 per hour.

The Noon Duty Aide will support staff and students by monitoring lunch activities, setting up the cafeteria, and assisting children during each lunch session. This is a part-time, in-person role with specific lunch duties and supervision expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with teachers, students and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Assist children when entering the cafeteria during their lunch period in an orderly fashion.
• Receive children from the classroom teachers for the lunch period.
• Make sure each child received utensils, milk, juice and other supplies.
• Assure that children empty their trays when finished.
• Assure the children line up for recess or next activity at the appointed time.
• Must report 30 minutes prior to the first lunch session and remain 30 after the last session to ensure the cleanliness and order of the cafeteria.
• Assist as needed or instructed by the Administrator.
• Other duties as assigned.
