This role is essential in helping maintain student safety, reinforcing expectations, and ensuring the lunchroom runs smoothly and safely. Punctual and dependable.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the cafeteria and during recess to ensure safety and appropriate behaviors
• Monitor and assist students while eating lunch, including opening containers or addressing minor needs
• Enforce school rules and expectations in a consistent and respectful manner
• Support smooth transitions between lunch and recess
• Address minor conflicts and refer concerns to appropriate staff when necessary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children (preferred)
• Ability to manage groups of students in a structured environment
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in various situations
• Dependable and punctual

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting)
• Ability to respond quickly to student needs and emergencies
