Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a dedicated Lunchroom/Playground Monitor for Dowdall Elementary in Flint, MI. This part-time role covers student lunch and recess periods, with a pay of $15.88 per hour and a requirement to pass a Live Scan background check.

You will supervise lunchroom activities, monitor playgrounds, interact professionally with students and staff, and maintain punctual attendance. Additional tasks as assigned will support teachers and the school’s safety and wellbeing goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• The applicant must successfully complete a Live Scan Criminal Records check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor lunchroom during student lunch periods and clean up between lunches.
• Monitor playground during student recess periods
• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with students and staff
• Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of this position
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by teacher or school administrator
• Regular attendance and punctuality is required
• Other duties as assigned
