Water Street Mission in Lancaster, PA seeks a dedicated kitchen team member to create, prepare and serve lunch following menu specs and food safety practices. This full-time role requires weekend availability and adherence to mission values.
You will work under the Director of Food Services, assist volunteers, maintain sanitation, operate kitchen equipment, and contribute to a compassionate, Christian environment while serving guests.

Creates, prepares and serves lunch in accordance with menu specifications and established food safety practices as directed by supervisor. This position will work some weekends and holidays.
FLSA: Full-time, non-exempt
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Food services experience in a restaurant or institutional setting, willing to manage staff, guests and volunteers, excels in a fast-paced work environment, enjoys menu planning and working in a team environment required.
Language and Communication Skills: SERV safe certification preferred.
