Job summary

Elevo Learning in California is seeking a TK/K Lunch and Recess Program Facilitator to support elementary students from 9/1/2026 to 6/2/2027. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–1:00pm with 3–4 hour shifts.

You will lead K–8 students through engaging activities and sports, manage group dynamics, and collaborate with school staff to create a welcoming program environment. The role emphasizes consistency, empathy, and role-modeling.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or leading youth programs is preferred.
• Ability to manage classroom or group activities for up to 20 students.
• Willingness to pass Live Scan background check and TB screening.

Wednesday: 8:00am - 1:00pm (3 - 4 hour shifts provided)

Thursday: 8:00am - 1:00pm (3 - 4 hour shifts provided)

Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm (3 - 4 hour shifts provided)

Saturday: No work

Expected Hourly Rate: $20

The Role

As An Elevo Coach, You Will

• Lead K–8 students through structed, engaging activities and sports using Elevo’s curriculum
• Manage group dynamics and support positive student behavior
• Partner with school staff and fellow coaches to create a welcoming program environment

About You

• Experience coaching, playing sports, working in education, or leading youth in any setting (e.g., camp counseling, youth programs, childcare)
• Lead by example as a confident, positive role model students want to follow
• Bring energy and presence that holds a group of up to 20 students’ attention
• Stay calm and empathetic when managing behavior or redirecting a tough moment
• Build trust quickly with students, families, and school staff
• Run activities on time and adapt on the fly when plans shift
• Collaborate with fellow coaches and school partners
• Motivated by Elevo’s mission to support student well-being

Additional Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S.; pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening
• 18+ with high school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another frequently
• Sitting or standing for long periods
• Occasional running and other strenuous physical activity
• Ability to move safely on irregular and/or uneven terrain on a regular basis
