Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to champion safety, first-time quality, and team development across operations sites in WA and FL. You will oversee manufacturing engineering, quality, tooling, supply chain, and production execution for multiple work centers, driving cost-effective, high-quality components for vehicle programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge in building or supporting production operations and change management initiatives.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent in Operations Management or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 6+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge and experience.
• Experience leading, growing, and developing teams within an integrated supply chain organization.
• Knowledge in manufacturing, production, assembly, procurement, and logistics in a low-volume, high-complexity environment.
• Strong business acumen; ability to challenge status quo and drive change.
• Experience creating and managing work cell standard work and tracking deviations.
• Experience supporting capital improvements and layout changes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with teams, internal customers, and suppliers.

• Lead manufacturing operations across multiple work centers and sites.
• Execute initiatives delivering cost-effective, high-quality components meeting program requirements.
• Improve factory flow, throughput, and first-pass yield within existing floor space.
