Finetco in West Haven, CT is seeking a Lumberyard Puller / Striker to support daily operations. You will pull and prepare lumber and building materials, verify quantities, and keep stock areas organized for fast, accurate order fulfillment.

We value physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork. Experience in a lumberyard or warehouse is a plus, and forklift certification is helpful. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and follow safety procedures.

Formación

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of lumber types and building materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately pull and prepare lumber and building materials according to customer orders and production requirements.
• Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Organize and maintain the lumberyard stock areas to ensure easy access and inventory accuracy.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols.
• Assist with deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with yard staff and customers to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve issues.
• Operate hand tools and machinery safely to cut, measure, or move materials as needed.
