Job summary

84 Lumber Company is seeking a full-time Hot Shot Puller in Piperton, TN to pull and stage orders, operate a forklift, and maintain an organized lumber yard. You will load and unload freight, restock returns, and communicate delays to management to ensure on-time fulfillment.

Requirements include the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, reading comprehension, and a high school diploma or GED. We offer $15 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities within a family-owned company.

The full-time Hot Shot Puller is responsible for accurately and promptly pulling outgoing and staging orders (fill-in and will-call). This is a warehouse associate position that acts as a material handler, inventory associate, and forklift operator. Other duties include:

• Loading and unloading freight such as lumber and/or building supplies.
• Processing and restocking returns.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and caring for equipment.
• Shrink control.
• Forklift training, certification, and operation.
• Communicating delays or discrepancies to management.
