Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring a Yard Person/Loader for our South Houston location. The role focuses on building loads for deliveries, keeping a safe and organized lumber yard, and loading/unloading materials.

Forklift operation is required along with adhering to safety procedures and completing other duties as assigned. Starting pay is $14 per hour with overtime pay at time and a half; compensation scales with experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information one-on-one.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries.
• Maintain a safe, clean lumber yard.
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies.
