Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring for a yard associate in Lubbock, TX. The role involves building loads for deliveries, loading and unloading lumber, and keeping the lumber yard organized and safe. No formal office duties are required; physical work and forklift operation are central.

Must pass background and drug screening, and a math assessment. We offer comprehensive benefits and an overtime policy. The position is full-time, with schedules Monday through Friday and some Saturdays, at $15 per hour plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.

Responsibilities

• Builds loads for deliveries and maintains a safe, clean, and organized lumber yard.
• Loads and unloads lumber and building supplies; operates a forklift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
