Job summary

Parr Lumber in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Truss Lumber Picker to accurately pull lumber and stack parts for saw operations. You’ll work with the Sawyer to ensure correct lengths, inspect materials for defects, and maintain safe, organized yard conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Strong English reading/writing skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adhere to safety standards and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Pull lumber accurately from the yard per the pull sheet.
• Inspect materials for damage and defects before use.
• Label parts clearly for forklift loading and tracking.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety protocols.
• Coordinate with forklift operator and Sawyer to ensure correct lengths.
