Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Statesville, NC is seeking a full-time material handler/rider. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Responsibilities include placing deliveries into stock, picking orders, loading trucks, and unloading materials at jobsites.

Forklift experience is preferred; we will train the right person. Building materials knowledge is a plus. You must be willing to work outside in all weather and be able to handle the physical workload.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred; training provided.
• Physically capable of handling heavy materials and standing for long periods.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Place incoming deliveries into stock and pick orders.
• Load trucks and assist with unloading at jobsites.

Responsibilities include placing incoming deliveries into stock, picking orders, loading trucks, riding in truck and unloading materials at jobsites. Basic math skills, an ability to read and understand instructions, punctuality, regular attendance, common sense, and a good attitude are necessary in this position.

Forklift experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. Building materials knowledge is a plus. You must be willing to work outside in all weather and be able to handle the physical workload, as this position requires frequent lifting or moving of heavy products. Compensation is based upon qualifications and experience.
