84 Lumber Company in Ohio is seeking a Yard Person to build loads for deliveries, maintain a safe and organized lumber yard, and assist with loading materials. The role requires physical work and forklift operation within a fast-paced retail-building materials environment.

You will operate a forklift, load/unload lumber and supplies, and perform duties as assigned, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries and keep the lumber yard safe, clean and organized.
• Load and unload lumber and/or building supplies.
• Operate a forklift and assist with yard duties as assigned.
