Job summary

84 Lumber Company is seeking a dedicated Associate/Yard Person to build loads for deliveries and maintain a safe, clean yard. You will load/unload lumber and materials and operate a forklift.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, be physically capable of lifting up to 80 pounds, and read/write simple instructions. This role offers growth in a family-owned company with strong internal promotion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information one-on-one.
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries and keep the lumber yard safe, organized and clean.
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies.
• Operate a forklift; perform other duties as assigned.
