Qualifications

• OSHA Certified Forklift License preferred.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English required.
• Knowledge of receiving/inventory control principles, practices and protocols.
• Knowledge of dimension lumber and panel products and other building materials.
• Ability to read and interpret picking tickets and invoices.
• Ability to concentrate and attend to detail amidst a busy work environment.
• General knowledge and use of power tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely, accurately and efficiently load customer vehicles with orders of building materials.
• Ensure that appropriate paperwork is completed as per company policy.
• Receive delivered inventory by properly inspecting paperwork for accuracy and by depositing inventory in designated locations.
• Inspect stock and returned items to ensure salable quality.
• Puts stock away in the correct location and neatly.
• Provides required paperwork for change orders.
• Completes inventory adjustments.
• Operates forklift and loads stock as needed.
• Keeps yard and inventory organized and clean.
• Greet and assist customers and answer questions about products.

Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products.Pay: $19.44-$21.53 hourly Lumber Yard Associates are responsible for providing legendary service by safely and efficiently loading customer vehicles with building materials both by hand and on a forklift. The Lumber Yard Associate is also responsible for keeping the yards clean and stocking inventory.
